Do you think adding back heavy thrust would solve the problem of losing damage up on aoe pulls? Or should we keep asking the devs to have the aoe combo refresh it?
I personally dont think it would be to much of an issue regarding button bloating since botd is becoming passive in Endwalker. What do you guys think?

Drk is never getting scourge back
Mch is never getting grenado shot back
Drg will never have heavy thrust again nor should it
Old abilities are just that. Old, tired, outdated, and if they had any place left in the current game build it would be in the game. It’s not. Therefore it’s extraneous, therefore there’s no reason to discuss it. -

I mean I can give you some abilities being older etc etc, but grenado shot was amazing and you can’t tell me otherwise. Its animation was 1000% better than spread shot.

While the devs usually have a "vision" about how jobs should be played, it's usually the players that solidify what works and what doesn't. One of the more notable examples was One Ilm Punch from Monk. The devs tried to make it work, but eventually realized it had no place, as the player base had been saying for several expansions.
Sadly there are still some examples of Skills that the devs are trying to "keep", for whatever reason: Dissipation, Fluid Aura, Blizzard II, Sleep, etc. Some of these are being addressed in 6.0, but how many? Just remember a skill that is used sparingly isn't outright bad, and a skill used frequently doesn't mean it's good.
