This is known, but nonetheless I would say it is a vast improvement over the current acquisition method.

One bad system on top of a bad system don't make it a good system

IMO the entire system needs an overhaul, but I wouldn't be surprised if the new purchase options (like the lottery) were used for the new wards and the old wards stayed as is.

Lots will be way harder to obtain because way more players will try their luck

and people will still complain and insinuate that lotteries are "rigged". lol

Or that they'll never be able to get a house because they always have bad luck.

I really don't understand people getting excited for changes that make their chances of getting a house significantly smaller.

It's trading one issue for another... on the bright side at least it makes the entire "camp the house for days" issue go away.

RMT bots would fill up lottery enmass.....

Not really sadly, because that system will still be around for old wards and some of the new ones, afaik
