Mercantile Houses Banners/Flags

I am in Limsa Lominsa right now and when to the market ward to check out the new changes (very good i might add ^^), but then I noticed that as I moved from one to the other (still in LL) LL banners & flags are still decorating the other houses, why is that i wonder?

Does that meaning Limsa Lominsa owns Gridania Mercantile House? & Ul’dah Mercantile House? [P.S. I haven't gone to the others cities yet, but is it the same?]

It means that all mercantile houses in Limsa is run by Limsa.

It's IN Limsa. Why would that be odd?

The building is owned by Limsa. Personally I think there should be banners for the corresponding nations, as well. They do this in XI with the consul buildings; the flags of San d'Oria and Bastok mark the Bastokan Consul in San d'Oria. Likewise, the flags of Limsa Lominsa and Gridania should decorate he Gridanian Mercantile House in Limsa Lominsa.

In the above example, they don't even need the Limsa Lominsa flag as long as they use the Limsa Lominsa architecture and design. A Gridanian flag in a Limsan building will suffice.
