I think it's time for Mastered Roulette...expert is a joke.

Let's face it...Expert is a joke...and just their to give us gateway gear for extreme savage content. I GROOOOAN when I get yshtolas in expert...much how I groaned when I got acydemia ander. Twinning....you're all right...you got mad beats...you get a pass.

Add a new roulette category specific to high end gameplay labeled: Mastered Roulette

Mastered roulette rules:
Mastered Dungeon roulette (level 90 only)
2.0 - 5.0 dungeons
no aoe markers
Enemy HP and damage syncs to level 90.
Syncs dungeon to average item level of party +1%. i.e. party ilevel is 600, but enemies/bosses are 606...enemies hit harder, have more HP, and use debuffs more often. If my ilevel is 610, but i'm brought down to 600...I deal less damage, take more damage, and more disadvantaged. Must rely on skill and battle knowledge over stats.

Boss Mini enrage: every 3 min of boss engagement...the boss does 10% more damage

Hence "Mastered" in the title.

If I know the mechanics of a dungeon, then I should increase my odds of survivability, and also teach others.

Which also makes use of:
-Repose, Sleep, Binds, Slow, etc, for trash mobs to reduce chance of death/wipe before trash pulls....

-Smarter healing - better shields/pure heals, and predictive damage, better debuff management

-Smarter Tanking - better use of mitigations, boss positioning, understanding limitations

-Smarter DPSing - actually knowing when you should avoid aoe (no markers to indicate). And using damage buffs intelligently.

The idea is to install the Tank, Healer, DPS holy trinity into dungeons again...which I have felt is completely lacking as of for 2 expansions...and to cater to those that want a challenge of new and older content outside of extremes/savages.

Wall to Wall pulling, Mass AOE, Healer DPS spam is boring and is fun for a while until everyone realized there is literally NO STARTEGY/TATICS in expert dungeon roulette.

Give those veterans something to do outside of extreme/savage, with a equal challenge and another form of gaining my weekly tomestone cap. Expert sucks....

I'd rather have mythic+ dungeons. Minus the key requirements ofc.

I think they'd need to build a completely separate version of every dungeon to implement something like that. They don't do options.

At this point I'd take anything that adds 4ppl (light party) content, even if it was on savage difficulty or something.

I think you're missing the entire point of the roulette system. It exists to encourage leveled players to run lower end content so that leveling players can get a queue. The tomes/gear is you reward for assisting the community.

(edit: Yes, this includes expert. gaining ilevel is still "leveling" and despite the moniker Expert is still casual/leveling content for many)

Why have the white mage even? Just have them nascent flash each other! :D:D

I think they need to just remove either the Expert roulette or the lvl 80 dungeons roulette and just roll them all into one. 2 dungeons is not a true roulette.

Rename expert to something else, people keep getting confused by the name and thinking it means it's supposed to be hard.
