Hacked, All My Gil Gone, HELP!

Hey,
So last night around 11 pm cst I was hacked and the person took all my gil and then used my character to do RMT spam on other servers. I submitted multiple tickets with GMs who were, quite frankly, absolutely useless. I did submit a report for a character rollback but haven't heard back.
How long does it usually take to get the rollback done? I'm scared that you guys will say no to the rollback but not actually tell me anything so I'm waiting and not doing anything with my character when you've already decided and just not told me. Will I receive a response once the rollback is decided? How long does this process take?
Life since last night has basically been one long panic attack after another. Please help me get my money back!

ETA: I do use 2FA.

Most rollbacks take weeks, and everything you earn in game until then will be gone again after the rollback.

I also assume you weren't hacked, but fell for a phishing scam. Did you follow any links sent to you via chat lately that led to the Forums and required your login data?

Also, if not done yet, change your password ASAP.

Make sure to add an authenticator to your account. Download the SQEX Token from the apple or android store onto your cellphone and attach it to your account so this doesn’t happen to you again.

You're correct, it was the phishing scam. I should have worded differently. That's why I'm basically scared to play at all because I know that everything will go poof if they decide to help me which sucks. I did change my password! Thank you for the input, I really, really, hope it doesn't take weeks.

I do have the authenticator, as above poster corrected it was a phishing scam where I was prompted to log into "Lodestone for FC giveaway". I thought it was fishy but I was curious. I wasn't going to do anything just peek. I really didn't have data harvest in my mind at all. It prompts you to log in which of course requires the code.

Did you happen to click on the raffle tell websites? They are fake website and fake login where it captures credential. Please also avoid using the same password on multiple websites or accounts. Use a password manager and 2FA next time.

I don't even know my bank password but it is secured because it is random password diff per accounts and secured with 2FA.

They just said they did.

@ all advising to get 2FA:
The scams evolved. You know have to put in your OTP into the fake website as well, and their programs use the OTP you give them to log into your account in mere seconds. So, sadly, 2FA no longer protects you from these scams.

Thank you for pointing this out. I am really tired of being told in-game, and here, repeatedly, even after I say I have one, to get a 2FA when I haven't played a game without one in 15 years, lol.
