Delubrum and Timeworn Artifact

Can we please do something about the amount of Timeworn Artifact's are required to upgrade one relic weapon?
15 runs is just way too much, i have now done over 50 runs and i just can't bring up any more motivation to it.
I even got the Hair item dropped once, which i sold because Viera can't use it as always...

Castrum Litore provides 5 "Loathsome Memory of the Dying" for one run and takes about the same time as one delubrum run.
I have now upgraded all 17 relic to Law's Order, and 4 to the modified version.
that means i need to run another 195 times Delubrum to upgrade them, that is just absurd.

I tried to collect them with potd, but the drop rate is very bad and not worth the waiting time after each 10 floors to find another party.

Make Delubrum drop 5 pieces, same as Castrum does and increase the drop rate in potd to 100% from floor 51 and up (thats still 150 floors for one relic)

once the next step is introduced then they might nerf timeworn artifacts. then again they might not until 6.0 relic is introduced.

Wouldn't be so bad if most of the bottom feeders in DR weren't just auto-attacking and hoping enough people are there carrying.

There is so much wrong with the design of DR and the fact that it still manages to have high participation is super frustrating because it'll mean next expansion we can expect more of the same.

I don't think there's anything wrong with DR. The main issue is just people being lazy/refusing to use what the game gives them to thrive. I'd like more stuff like DR in the future personally. I especially had fun with DR savage.

Because the game in no way incentivizes it. A good chunk of people running DR, especially nowadays, only care about their relic. They aren't going to spend extra time farming fragments in content they otherwise wouldn't touch nor are they going to spend gil. If that tacks on a few more runs, they don't care.

DR should drop far more fragments than it does, which might encourage people to use the damn things.

I dont have a problem with DR per se, beside the poor group balancing(when you get no tanks or healers). It just becomes very stale and mind numbing after so many runs, i can do the entire thing half asleep and not getting hit by a single thing.

I assume the Savage doesn't drop any more Artifacts either?

The alternative is also stupid.
I did pod solo from floor 1-150 and got 2 fragments.

They really need to nerf that step because it is more annoying then the eureka pagos weapon.

But maybe DR will be a lot faster after the next patch when we overall get stronger in Bozja.

What I would be ok with (and they will do for next step according to LL) is have less items required when it's not the first relic you do. Like just 3 needed and not 15 for instance if you already did it once for your "main".

But for your first relic, 12-13 hours for a step is WAAAAAYYYYY easier than stormblood (around 30 hours per step when it was out) or Heavensward (including two excruciating steps that took ~60 hours each when they got out) so consider yourself lucky.

i had the idea that they could just increase the rewards. i.e if your using essences and lost actions you get a second artifact at the end..

Only after they buffed the rewards from that place by a crazy amount to incentivize people to actually run it, because Castrum Lacus Litore is actually required to even continue past the Recollection step & the rest of the Bozja story.

They're not gonna put in crazy buffs like these before the next relic step at the earliest. And even then they probably won't buff Delubrum as crazily as they did Castrum, even if it'll be required to continue the story in the new zone. While Castrum had a wait time + a random chance to not get in (if more than 48 players signed up), Delubrum doesn't have this issue with its queue system.

That sounds like a normal amount of time to me. Relics have always had time consuming steps. They're also not designed around players who feel the need to collect all of them before the next relic step is even released. If that's your goal, better be prepared to put in a lot of hours.
