As a Legacy player, I get the privilege of paying only $9.99 a month for the entirety of FFXIV's lifespan, forever, even after the launch of Version 2.0, and I can also create up to 40 total characters at no extra cost? Fucking sweet! :cool:

I cant wait until 2.0 release when we get tons of threads with the opposite statement from the players who are being punished for not paying for the game in its current state. XD Its going to be fun!!

I dont think the Goobbue is staying in 2.0, think its a pre2.0 only.

No, the Goobue is a permanent mount being given as a gift to current players. It'll stay in the game even after the launch of 2.0.

Please do. I'm hoping this site just phrased it in a weird way, but I could be wrong. I was always under the impression that you could only GET it pre-2.0, but you would have it forever. It would be a shame if that wonderful music went to waste post-2.0. I'm not particularly attached to my goobbue (it is way too big!) but the music is amazing.

That just means.. people that want to get the Goobbue better get it before 2.0 hits or it won't be available come 2.0 to obtain.

wait...we don't have to pay for character slots either? I assumed that they would still be $3 a pop.
