This is regard to the Lunar Bahamut that Fandaniel summoned/created - at the end of 5.4 the Scions are discussing what to do, when it's brought up about seeking info/help... and the only talk is of finding Estinien.
Now I 100% understand, and agree with, contacting him for help in dealing what appears to be another dragon type. What I don't understand is why no mention of going to talk to Hraesvelgr & the other dragons?
Surely they would also be able to have relevant information about it, or at least help determine if the Lunar Bahamut is another form of Elder Bahamut or such.
It also begs the question whether we will see Midgardsomr appear to have anything to say (or did the spirit with us perish during Omega? I don't remember). I mean, if his spirit is alive and still with us... then he would be another sourse of possible info about the Lunar Bahamut... whether it's an actual dragon, what it could possibly do, etc.
Yet, despite there being at least 2 other sources of information (assuming 1 is still alive & with us)... we only get mention of Estinien. Any thoughts on this? Do you think we'll get any scene's of us talking with Hraesvelgr, Midgardsomr, or any of the other dragons? Or will all "Dragon" info from now on be purely via Estinien?

I've heard that one of the developers hinted that Heavensward will be full of hints for what is to come, so you might be spot on here and we'll revisit the dragons in 5.5 maybe?

Seemingly nobody has anything to say about the towers in general as far as I've noticed.
It's kind of rare for less important NPCs to get dialogue updates if they aren't directly involved in or at least mentioned in the MSQ, so things like Cirina and Temujin having updated dialogue after the ShB 5.0 MSQ are a pleasant surprise. -

Dragons are not interested in being dragged into the conflicts of man. Without a direct threat to their interests/territory, they're not going to get involved.
It makes more sense to turn to the "human" expert first.
Especially when that human expert was actually merged with the Shade of Nidhogg for some time. Lunar Bahamut appears to be more egi-like than dragon-like (appears to obey Fandaniel's will as an example). Estinien's personal experience with both dragon and primal aspects could give him better insight.
If we did need to turn to the dragons for information, Tiamat would be a better choice as consort of Bahamut and party to the Ascians reviving him as a primal. I'm actually hoping she is involved in the story at some point.
Midgardsormr is basically in a state of hibernation. He's unlikely to awaken unless there is a threat to whatever Hydaelyn charged him to protect. -
