Temple Boots

In what respect do the mnk AF feet enhance Fists of Wind? Is it movement speed only, or wind damage, and WS recast timers, as well? Thanks

MNK feet = 30% WS recast, over 20% default. No increase to damage. 6.5% increase to FoW movement speed.

Wow, I guess worth wearing for the WS recast difference. Thanks so much for the info, Almalexia ^^

You can equip the shoes, enable FoW and then equip something else and you won't lose the AF bonus.

You don't lose the extra 6.5% movement speed, but you lose the extra 10% recast reduction on any subsequent weaponskills.

Yes, much of the AF is lame except for some meaningful ability enhancements. I did create a macro gear swap for this, as I did for all the bard enhancement gear, etc.. Thanks again, for your kind input.

This piqued my interest as I had never heard of it. Just ran out and tested it, and it is false. Put my Temple Boots on, used Fists of Wind. Simian Trash CD was 55 seconds.

Swapped over to Explorer's Moccasins. Simian Thrash CD was 55 seconds.

Both effects carry over.

Interesting. I tested it once, I suppose it was either a mistake on my end or some sort of glitch. Either way, thanks for the heads up.
