I like the Retro Theme

I just want to say that I really like the new retro theme that Patch 5.4 will add. As someone who started Final Fantasy with the GBA (FF4, FF5, FF6), this UI theme is a nostalgic throwback to the good old days.

wish the border was just fully white though, otherwise it looks dope. Though i'd like a system like 6 where you could R G B and gradient the background colors

I did not know this was coming. This looks awesome!

Dude that looks sick, only time will tell if I'll actually end up using as my new hud but doesn't change the fact it looks neat

You could do that with FFXI with it's GUI too, and that also had a default blue as it's GUI window colour (you could even change the background of the windows to 'themes' like patterns and even a chocobo print). Course, FFXI's GUI was basically all menu windows, no widgets or icons or anything.

Either way, I too was unware this was planned and I admit, as an old-school FF player I can't wait for this. :D

Now, how about bringing back the old 1.0 interface background style/font and colour theme please Yoshi? ;)

Looks like the Classic Theme is finally coming in a few days. I'm currently using the Dark Theme but will switch when Patch 5.4 launches.

I really like this. I know it would never happen, but I wish we could have a customizable background like the old games, with your choice of background images and colour scheme. Would love to be able to recreate the demon chocobo.
