Crashing consistently

I haven't played since 5.0, and I resubbed for 5.3 after building a new pc and I'm crashing consistently. Sometimes I won't crash for 4 hours, sometimes I won't be able to log in 5 times in a row. It always gives me a directx11 error of some kind. I've tried updating windows, updating nvidia, checked file integrity, reinstalled the game, reinstalled dx11, ran the game in dx9, ran the game in windowed, ran the game in fullscreen, ran the game at 60 fps, and I'm spent on ideas. I haven't been kicked from a dungeon in df yet thankfully, but I'm afraid if I can't get back in and need to restart my pc mid dungeon, I might.

Try doing a clean install of your display drivers if you have not done so already. I used to get a lot of DX11 crashes until AMD fixed the issue in one of their updates.
