During Yokai watch event, make fate bosses immune to Doom please

Title. Doom works on a LOT of fate bosses. Original event had you killing mass amounts of fates. Doom works on fate bosses. I've killed Gorgimera solo before as blue mage.

Edit: And just another tidbit, if they make the fate bosses immune to doom, they'd also be immune to tail screw, Missle, and Launcher as well due to them all sharing the same resistance.

If Doom is allowed to function this way during that event then the grind will likely be very painful. I hope that they address this before the event begins.

Just delete blue mage and try again later D;

Or you could just... roll Blue Mage and Doom the fate boss yourself. Even during the initial run of this event, there really weren't that many people super keen on the grind, and most gave up or finished the weapons they wanted after a day or two into it. Now add that to the still very small number of people who actually bother to regularly play Blue Mage... Competing for fate credit against Blue Mages using Doom is not going to be a major concern. And even if you encounter someone doing that, just ask them to use other skills instead so other people can get credit? Or go to a different zone until they're gone? Or world hop to a different world where that's not happening?

BLU doesn't need yet another thing taken from it.

(And edit: By creating a thread complaining about fate bosses being vulnerable to Doom, you're literally calling attention to something that a lot of players probably didn't even know, so you've likely increased the chances of someone doing this! I, for one, am about to go solo Gorgimera to get my alt that achievement...)

I think you are severely underestimating the lengths that people will go to in order to make a grind faster/easier. Being able to Doom Fate bosses would do just that.

Fates don't do much for Blue Mage outside of a few spells learned that are otherwise in dungeons (Gorgi, and like a couple others). They don't get good EXP from doing them. And I'm only suggesting the low level areas, where you don't really need to have doom anyways.

Being able to Doom/Tail Screw FATE bosses at all seems like an oversight when it effectively allows a single player to monopolize all of the credit from a boss.

I think they realized that later since all of the HW FATE bosses are immune to both.

I mean, this doesn't change the fact that there's zero reason to change immunities for dozens of bosses for one limited time event where people are likely to get tired of the grind within two days, especially where there are already a ton of ways to avoid people who might be doing this.

Don't you dare try and take my joy away from me.

I hope SQEX makes them immune to Doom & co. if only so the special fates don't get completed immediately after spawning :/
