Mostly due to the fact that rewards for doing them dry up really fast, due to how easy and fast actually leveling DoL classes is. What with GC turn ins, high exp for just gathering stuff (Especially HQ materials), the Crystarium Facet quests, Ocean Fishing and now also the Diadem (Which I assume will give a bunch of exp, I wouldn't know all my DoL were already level 80 when it came out)
Now don't get me wrong, the story for the Beast Tribe quests was fine. My only qualm was the oddity that was the quests being for DoL specifically (Unlike the Namazu in StB which were both DoL and DoH)
Though, with the Ishguardian Restoration (Also, Crystarium quests and again, GC turn ins), even DoH beast tribes can easily be outleveled on all DoH classes before reaching Bloodsworn status. Depending on how much time you spend on gathering materials.
Meanwhile, all my DoW/DoM jobs are still slowly leveling up due to how little exp is rewarded from the very few activities in the game that reward somewhat meaningful exp for them...
Maybe it would be better if the tokens from Beast Tribes were more relevant for actually obtaining things, but ever since StB they haven't been, with only limited wares actually purchasable with them (I'm sat on ~300+ of each of StB's Beast Tribe tokens...) so even when DoL/DoH jobs are leveled up to max, doing the dailies would still have some worth...
But as it stands, with all the ways to gain easy and fast exp for DoH/DoL I'd prefer to see only DoW/DoM Beast Tribe dailies... But maybe that's just me.

While I'm not in ShB, I tend to approach this in the opposite direction. I know the beast tribes will be giving loads of exp trying to bring them up, so I do less of the other things that don't offer as much. Which kinda leaves me in a position of not having very many skybuilders scrips or the like.

Currently available beast tribe quests from the Fae and previous xpacs depending on your job's level range.
There's objectively quite a few ways to get xp for combat jobs, the daily options offering significant chunks of progress and some of which have no limit to how often you can take advantage of them. Just doing the daily Main Scenario and Leveling Roulettes, along with the Fae beast tribe dailies probably nets you about 2 levels of xp for 70-80. That hardly seems slow to me. And that doesn't account for unlimited stuff like running trust dungeons as often as you like (of which I think about 4 runs gets you a level). The only real "dead zone" I've encountered is 60-71 since there's no Squadron or Trust dungeon options. For that I just do daily roulettes and Stormblood beast tribes to push through to 71. -

I mean, sure, let's keep dungeons and/or roulettes as the very best xp-earning way, but outside of pixie quests, sidequests offer only a pathetic amount of roughly 2-3%. Fates aren't much better if the challenge log bonus is already earned. Depending on how farm-happy someone is, doing the same stuff over and over and over and over may get boring "fast" (relative to how fast the "limit" is reached) and with CM in MSQ roulette + Leveling you sometimes scrape barely at one level up. Though I digress, the main point of this thread was how easy it is to get to a point where the DoL beast tribes feel unrewarding to grind out, even if you didn't spend 5.0 and 5.1 leveling them to 80... Even more so with the materia you can buy from the vendor being devalued thanks to the improvements to extracting materia from spiritbonded gear no longer destroying the gear.
