Plot idea for future of FF14

So I have an idea for an end game story line and I thought I'd throw it out there for the community to chew on. Here goes.

The story begins in Eorzea where citizens report seeing strange things roaming in the wilderness, people dressed in outdated clothing, monsters that haven't been seen for millennia. Zodiark has begun piecing back together and moving closer to Hydalaen and as the two crystals move closer to one another it causes a rift or tear in time and space in the source, but there is a point as these rifts or tears are intentional created by the crystals themselves. In current day the rifts open a portal to the past allowing people and monsters to travel seamlessly through into "our time". Unknown to us however the crystals are "pulling" villains and heroes from previous FF to fight for them (Golbez, Kain, Cecil, Rosa, FuSoYa, Tellah, Zemus (Zeromus) the 4 Fiends!, Kefka, Cyan, Edgar, Terra,Sabin etc. Since Doma is already a place in the First, Kefka and Cyan would natural gravitate there (Kefka poisoned the water to defeat the Domans killing Cyan's family in FF6) now that Doma is rebuilt what is stopping him from repeating that? Cyan would rediscover his homeland and continue his hunt for Kefka. Eventually the end solution is to kill both Hydalaen and Zodiark officially ending the conflict between light and dark as well as the Ascians ambitions of rejoining the source with its lesser stars as both God Eikons no longer exist.


All I can say is I would go crazy if I could fight the Major bosses again from previous FF AH THE NOSTALGIA!

Also, Doma isn't a place on the First in FF XIV as you claimed, but on the Source. Then, some villains like Kefka and Exdeath are already in the game...

And lastly, my personal opinion, it wouldn't be a really good story, but a Fanservice Feast that would take away from FF XIV's own identity.

Or just go beat up some of those bosses in the Omega raids which a lot of people didn't like because they didn't feel like there wasn't any real story or reason behind beating up Kefka besides Omega wanting to test us. They enjoyed the fights, but a lot didn't enjoy the implementation.

They've already done this with Omega. Do we really need to fight Kefka and all the old FF bosses yet again in FFXIV? That's way too stale. The Warrior of Light has already slain Kefka, let him stay dead.
