no more hard dungeons

well it's official, we're only getting 1 dungeon per patch from now one which means they'll be no more hard mode dungeons. Personally I don't mind that much, dungeons are not exactly the most exciting dungeons and the hard content don't tend to be that good, think it's better they focus their energies elsewhere.

Yeah, dungeons have been pretty dull for a while now, so hopefully we'd be getting something big that is hopefully more fun that eureka.

Getting 1 dungeon also means they can focus more time in making it a good dungeon.

I'm going to miss having more dungeons. Dungeons are my favorite content in the game. This sucks.

Unless we see noticable increase in other content, which thus far we have, then its a bad thing. Only time will tell.

I prefer doing dungeons to most other forms of group content, so I am not overly pleased with this announcement.

Might thoughts exactly. You can already see a steady drop in the number of dungeons added per expansion since ARR.

Feel like we have to have had a hard dungeon to begin with in order to say we are getting no more.

I'd wager trusts are to blame. Coding the NPC's to be able to react to mechanics probably takes up a chunk of development time, to say nothing of what is already spent on environment design, music and enemy models.

I'll miss the extra dungeons since hard modes were an excellent continuation to some dungeon stories. I'm sure there will be payoff elsewhere with a broader range of content, though it's still a shame.
