Those are 3 level 80 dungeons you have yet to clear. Just finish the level 80 dungeons and you are good.
DR:Expert is always the most recent 3 or 4 dungeons at the cap level.
Hi! So the 3 dungeons to unlock Expert are I believe
Amarout
The Twinning
Akadaemia Anyder
You can unlock the Twinning from a blue side quest located at the Crystarium
Amarout can be unlocked via MSQ
Akadaemia Anyder can be unlocked from a blue side quest in Eulmore
Hope this helps!
If you are finished with the MSQ you should only be missing two of them:
The Twinning and Akadaemia Anyder. For the other two, Amarout & Grand Cosmos, just continue playing the Main Story Quest.
As a QoL it would be helpful if ??? duties you've not unlocked yet would instead point you towards the relevant quests which lead to unlocking those duties. Maybe it could be done as part of a major redesign of the Duty Finder UI.
I'm sure they chose ??? in order to avoid spoilers, but I do agree something more descriptive but still non-spoilery would be beneficial. For example, including the quest category for an unknown duty:
??? [Main Scenario (Shadowbringers)]
??? [Lakeland Sidequest]
??? [Hildibrand Quests]
This would point people in the general direction without handholding or spoiling the duty outright.
What I didn't know when I first posted this was that each "???" is replaced by the duty name once you unlock the corresponding duty. And they subsequently disappear from the list as you complete them. As someone else said, apparently the "???" is to prevent any spoilers that might be caused by the duty names. (I remember how the track names in the soundtrack for Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, which came out before the movie did, spoiled the fact that Qui-Gon Jinn died. So you never know what can spoil a major plot point.)
Thank you for all the excellent responses. I was pretty frustrated when I first saw this, and you were all quite helpful.
That would actually be a great idea.
It wouldn't even require spoilers or anything, it could simply be click on the ??? and it opens a map displaying the quest givers general location. Thats all you would need to know. No spoilers, no details, nothing but a little "hey, look over there."
If the specific quest for the duty isnt availble to you yet then clicking on that ??? could simply point you to a prerequisite you need to do first. Again wouldn't need spoilers or details, just a general little nudge to look in a particular direction.
If I remember correctly the MSQ guide sort of already does this. It just pops up with a ??? That opens a map and says hey go check out the rising stones or whatever when you click on it.
No risk of spoilers, no details. Just a gentle pointer in the right direction.
