With like 5 new anima threads popping up recently I have been thinking of how I would like SE to handle teleporting in 2.0.
First off there will be smaller maps which will mean less tele locations, most likely 1 spot per area. Of the remaining camps I would rather earn the the right to teleport there then just walk up click it and come back anytime. Also Depending on your starting city I think there should be benefits of teleporting in your homeland.
1. teleporting benefits relating to GC and home city
2. quest(local to the area) to achieve foreign ather passes(I dont mean the town ather passes, more like key items to give you access to different areas)
3. fight for control over certain aths with the other GC's
4. garlean empire controlled aths(have to use a garean key item to trick them into thinking your one of them)
5.beastmen controlled aths(upon teleporting there you better get ready to run)
With the upcoming world changes It would be interesting if the worlds ather was mostly diminished and there was a power struggle to control the last remaining bits.
To control aths there could be some sort of large scale battle or something like GC leves you do there and which ever GC has the most activity will be granted certain benefits like free teleporting.
Its not a fully layed out concept because honestly I wouldn't want to have to focus on ever individual point with everyone. Its just something simple I thought of to show how they can include teleporting into the ongoing story and make it more fun and engaging.
so some different ideas:
no more anima or anima only for you GC aths
GC controlled aths free upon purchasing a GC pass
different GC aths cost you seals
beastmen could cost beast currency or gil
black market aths cost gil or items
garean aths could just require you get a key item
