I have been wanting this since ARR.
I don't believe it is too much to add and it makes sense to add it.
It's not fun to have to go out of my way to hear the battle shouts/voices.

YES PLEASE. There's so many voices that sound find in CC but sound godawful in combat.
While we're at it, let us preview all of the voiced emotes too please. It's surprising how much a voice can change between a /chuckle and a /laugh (for instance), and it can often be a deal-breaker.
I think they could also fix this by simply letting the aesthetician change everything but race and sex. I've said this a few times before, but even though I know changing your voice or height isn't the same as changing your hairstyle, it's not like they care very much about realism or immersion anywhere else in the game.
They could also do what some other games do and let you just try out combat with your character, or even give unlimited changes for a period of time like a week. But just adding more options to the aesthetician seems like it would be the easiest to implement to me.
