[Request] Please hide the tail for costume-type body suits.

Howdy

Yes this is one of those threads where we request a glamour QoL change in the game. I would like to request that the tail for Miqote, Au'ra, and Hrothgar be hidden when wearing the “costumes.” More specifically the Chocobo suit, Reindeer suit, Vanu Vanu body, and Zundu body. It has been requested repeatedly over the years as shown by these threads:

It's self explanatory as to why I and other players would want the tail to be hidden. So why aren't tails hidden for the suits I mentioned above? :confused: The tail is already hidden when wearing certain pieces like the Werewolf body, DRG AF gear, Pig suit, and the Snowman suit. I know it can be done and that the “hide tail” flag is attached to the body piece.

Perhaps we can have a “tail toggle” option like these players have suggested so everyone's happy.

TL;DR
Glamours like the chocobo suit and reindeer suit look bad on tailed races since the tail pokes out the butt of the suit. Please hide the tail for suits like these.

I'd rather see them re-introduce tail armor and make our tails look like they were considered in the outfit's tailoring instead of them dismembering us. :T
(Also am I the only one who likes the ear pockets? Hats without them look SO uncomfortable!)

At first, I didn't get it. Tailed folk should embrace their tails.~ Even if it means getting it lopped off mid-battle because there's no real protection for it. (No, I kid.) I honestly like my tail showing. (Edit: seconding the one above me. Tail armour would be neat but not necessary imo. Would sooner see other changes than that.)

But not for the Chocobo suit... Looks like he's defecating. XDD Nooot entirely appropriate looking. I don't have the suit myself and couldn't find a screenshot of a Miqo'te wearing the suit, but I don't recall seeing a tail poking out of it at any point... so, I wonder if it's a graphics thing they accidentally overlooked. Does seem a little odd.

Exactly that’s why I’m asking for certain suits. Not all pieces of armor. Btw there’s a miqote screenshot in the 3rd link I provided. (Warning can’t unsee)

Can you imagine trying to stuff your tail inside one of those suits? Talk about painful!

We manage to do it with the pig suit.

I was wondering if perhaps SE could optionally add a tail belt toggle, like helmet and visor toggle (and saves in the glamour plates). Like Saiyans or sometimes Zidane does:

So you have a tail, and you can see it, but it's more like an extra belt.

Also tail armor again would be neat :3

Armor like this would be ideal for new armor moving forward. I also like Shougun's idea.
However it wouldn't work for the costume suits I pointed out that have their own "tail."

Level 80 MSQ spoiler:

The Crystal Exarch/G'raha Tia is a Mi'qote but his tail doesn't show. A major npc hides their tail, it clearly doesn't disorient him lore wise.
