Hi all,
I've only been playing FF14 since the start of Stormblood and originally on the PS4, then I got myself a PS4-Pro. I upgraded my TV to a 4k HDR LED screen and in the PS4-Pro menus, I can have HDR on (I am pretty sure it's in a sub menu but I may be wrong).
Only in the last few months, I have been putting together a decent gaming rig that allows me to play FF14 at a better FPS and graphical setting compared to my PS4-Pro. The weekend just gone, I did some major upgrades to my PC and I've been able to use HDR without loosing performance. Sometimes when I go into FF14, HDR remains on, but more often than not, HDR switches off. The screen seems so washed out now I am use to the darkness HDR brings to the colour pallet and after searching online, it seems HDR is not supported on the PC version of FF14.
I know around a year ago, someone asked about HDR support and one of the admin team said that this request would be passed onto the technical team, but there was never any further reply. (this was the most recent post on these forums about it). So is HDR support possible or inbound anytime this year please?

There is no HDR support for FF XIV, and the last time Yoshida was asked about it, he expressed that any graphical improvements are unlikely anytime soon.
So as sad as it is to say, don't expect HDR support anytime soon. -

Basically pretties up graphical quality of games. There's a bunch of pre-sets you can find, though I don't know the website for them. You can personalise and tailor a bunch of options to your specifications as well.
