I doubt the next chapter of dragoon will have us bring Orn Khai along. he so cute and fun companion for dragoon. through add it so we have more then just are boko to fight at are side would be awesome add dragonling would awesome

They haven't really done anything with chocobos barring the increased inventory space and being able to queue for stuff with them in the party in a dog's age. And pet AI is already the bane of their existence. While it'd be neat, I don't see us having a companion like that outside of quests as an non-interactable NPC.

Like the OP, I too would love some other options besides good ol' Paprika the Chocobo. But until they fix the incredible dumb pet AI (dur hur fire on ground let me run TO it), I don't really want a cool looking pet that makes me want to turn it into dinner like my walking happy meal Paprika.

I like your suggest I agree that the AI need work this why suggest like my and more need be kept bring brought up the more they put in front of SE the more they see a something need work. I hope they keep work on Squardon machinac I suppect the trust system is expansion of that.

I still would love see a the dragonling become second companion since they sentive maybe talk to us while the adventure and sometime give us quest to help them improve they skills. I also still a supporter of beast master as jobs.

I had a thought that maybe they could make something like this and attach it to relics.
