5.0 DRK question: E/F of D/S

Not a complaint thread, but curious on how people feel about the naming of these skills and what they'll become.

Per Blood Weapon, Edge of Shadow/Darkness evolves into Flood of Shadow/Darkness.
Per the skills themselves, Edge/Flood of Darkness evolve into Edge/Flood of Shadow.

So... which is it? Which one do folks prefer?

I prefer:
-Edge: Single Target
-Flood: AOE

As for the upgrades, I prefer Darkness -> Shadow because shadow to me is darkness with a concentrated, controlled form.

For the names I think shadow has a deeper meaning due to the name of expansion.

I wonder if edge of darkness will have a different particle effect than edge of shadow or it is gonna be just a lame potency/name upgrade like Dragoon's High jump. The only one we saw until now was edge of shadow.

Shadow into Darkness. Shadows are just a minute part of total Darkness. Flood of Darkness = there will be no shadows,anywhere.
Consequently, they could of used the term 'night' So that the blackest night didnt feel so out of place

or even better called it the blackest shadow, or the blackest darkness(Darkness, DARKNESS!)

Yeah I'd take the skill descriptions themselves, as it tallies with their effects, potencies and levels.
Blood Weapon alone is the mistake.

And I think that makes sense by naming convention too.
How can an Edge be an AoE?

TBH I'm surprised that at this point 'Dark' and 'Shadow' are still the only adverbs they can come up with for Dark Knight actions.. Dark Missionary.. I mean, wtf localization lol

Diabolical, Abyssal, Spite, Doom, Dread, Void, Demonic, Blood... There's other terms used in DRK history they could be pulling from

Needs more Blood, Abyssal, Diabolic, and Dread...
