Yes, you can report for that.

Are you serious?
Yes you can basically report everyone for everything and spam the gm's with useless reports that cause them more work for nothing or you can just stop feeling offended by someone who spoilers a movie in a game.
I'm not really affected by spoilers, but seriously?
Why would someone playing this game have to suffer with being spoiled about a movie that they maybe were planning to watch soon, and is completely unrelated to the game (except for a couple of cases)?
Also if you're going to pull the "please feel less offended" card, there's barely anything you can do that both breaches the ToS and also impacts anyone else significantly, besides offending feelings. The ToS is mostly about preventing offended feelings, ergo by your logic any reports made are useless.
Most of the reports players make are useless since most reports are just made because someone feels offended by nothing. I think you have no idea for what people write reports, i mean the op already gives a good idea.
Reports should only be filed if someone is cheating, botting, bugusing, harassing or heavily insulting someone. Everything else is a useless report.
You have no idea about what people write reports about either, because you aren't a GM and if you were, you wouldn't speak about it. You also don't know what reports get actioned, to define what is or isn't useless.
The ToS dictates what should be reported, not McPerson Playerface who's alright with spoiling people in shouts but is against any other random issue. It's supposed to be fair for everyone, not according to someone's bias.
Ironically "heavily insulting someone" is all about feeling offended. Cheating as well, unless they cheated to steal a roll on loot from you or something like that.
One guy got a warning for standing on someone's housing lawn, and didn't leave when the owner told them to, so I'd say give reporting him a shot, who knows :P
Yeah thankfully i'm not a GM because i would've to shake my head way to often.
Well if you think its ok for people to report every nonsense be my guest, i've stated my opinion to that topic and yes i think people are way to sensitive and way to eager to hit the report button.
In theory, you can use par. 3.2 of ToS:
However, I think it's more about technical part of gameplay, not about story. And while spoilers can be hurtful, I don't think you can really report for them.Quote:
3.2 Disruption. You may not in any way disrupt or interfere with the Game experience of other players, including the disruption of Square Enix's computers and servers.
