Are there different "tiers" of GMs?

So I reported someone for harassing behavior last night, and (I apologize in advance for misspelling your name) a GM named Verethor(?) kindly took down all the details.

He/she had asked if there was anything else they could help me with, so I had asked about the status of a previous ticket, wherein I did not receive my Feast title despite ranking in the top 10 of the NA Feast Tournament -- while my teammates received theirs.

GM Drazilnoteb had kindly taken down the details of THAT particular issue and said that they had to send it to a different department. GM Verethor did give me an update, saying that the title issue would be resolved when a GM was online...

But aren't they a GM?

I realize that GMs are the ones who send out the mails with the titles, and the last thing I want to do is cause any overlap with support tickets. I'm just confused about that status update and wondered if there were different tiers or levels of GMs that handle different things. I just wanted to be sure my issue got into the right hands of someone who could resolve it.

If I am not mistaken, it is up to the GM to take the action he deems right. GM A could do something, while GM be could do a totally different thing.

As for them having some sort of tier/hierarchy? Nope, I guess only them know the answer.

There are LGMs.

This is probably less to do with some vertical, formal hierarchy and more akin to a tech support case - the kind that can't be resolved within a phone call. Some GM was assigned to your case and is working it, and while all GMs probably have access to the case notes, that doesn't necessarily mean it's a good idea for them to try to jump into the middle of it. Especially if your case requires coordination with, say, the operations team or similar, and a new person would have to start over on communications/coordination with others involved.

So, just have a little patience, I'm sure you'll get the title.

Yep! I am waiting patiently. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't being pushed off to the side, and I get the impression that it isn't. So I'll just wait. :)
