"Thank you to everyone who participated! We received many submissions in a variety of styles and designs, so we had a hard time deciding. We selected this entry as our grand prize winner for the true DPS feel, the simple yet cool design, and because it was something we really haven't seen before. From a development standpoint, creating a bodysuit type of design on a 3D model is difficult, but we would like to try our best to reproduce this cool design with a combination of the bodysuit and armor parts. "We received many impressive ranged DPS entries, but ultimately chose this one as our winner for its excellent steampunk design! The cloth and metal textures can be affected by 3D lighting, and the cape and scarf have great potential for movement. We really like the detailing on the machine parts as well as the draping. We'll try to incorporate as much as possible from the original design, so please look forward to it!"

Maybe with the upcoming Garlean story, but the techy thing looks too outta place. The winner would have been better suited to a game like Destiny as starter gear, than it is to FFXIV imo
