Partial Blindness and Latency Issues
I agree with the Dyslexia being problematic.
A problem I'd like to mention is blindness (partial or otherwise). While I am more than capable of reading clearly, oft times I am caught off guard and am not capable of responding properly to the mechanic because I (PLD MT) would run to what I would perceive as his right side though Omega used Larboard because my partial blindness skewed the word and I would be left to take my best guess at what direction it goes.
I mention this because while I have a 55 inch TV, I still have problems. And there are plenty of other players that don't have the same luxury of having a large screen with a high quality output and have to strain harder than I would on a smaller or even blurry screen.
Another problem that my Australian friends have primarily is latency. While it would be recommended to play on the Japanese servers, they have created long lasting bonds with the people they know on the NA servers which makes it near impossible for them to change server regions. That being said, a problem they often have is latency because of trying to connect from Australia to North America servers. With that in mind, more often than not, they will not make it in time to avoid mechanics and while quick AOE mechanics are a staple for Alphascape, V3.0 is much faster in my opinion compared to the rest of the raid tier.
I also suggest either lowering the AOE from a 195-220 degree angle to a half field/circle AOE, increasing the timer for the mechanic Star/Larboard to possibly 3 seconds, or show the AOE marker to symbolize specifically which direction Omega is going during the entire progress bar/time of the mechanic/move.
