Recompense officer not selling all items

I was going to submit a bug request, but figured I'd try here first just in case I was missing something obvious.

For as long as I can remember, I've never had the option to repurchase the ghost costume (from the 2013 event). I did the event back then, but at some point had tossed out the costumes.

When I was talking to a friend about this, he showed me a picture of the items he can buy back, and he several additional sets that weren't showing up on mine (the pumpkin heads, the eerie set, and the ghost costumes) even though I own them.

I have the eerie set & pumpkin heads in my armoire ATM, but none of them show at the recompense officer. Not sure if it makes a difference, but my items were from the event (not mogstation). He said that he also got his from the events.

I did try pulling out a couple of the items to see if that would somehow make them appear with the NPC, but no luck.

Has anyone else run into this?

Nope, mine is just like your friends. I also have all said items in my armoire (rotting away XD). Kinda weird you're missing items if you've done all the events before.

I'm at a loss as to why this would be :( Up until today, I never realized that my pumpkin heads and eerie outfit were also missing from the list (I've never looked for them since I have them in storage).

The recompense officer/calamity salvager reads from your achievments tab. Can you confirm you have the 2013 haloween achievment?

Went through my achievements and I'm not seeing anything there. Do you happen to know what the title would be? I pulled up a list of seasonal achievements (https://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/C...ts_Achievement), but I didn't see it there either.

2013 Halloween event achievement is "Oh my Gourd".

IIRC the event gave you the costume early on then you had to go around the city states for more quests.
Is it possible you only progressed the event far enough to get the outfit then didn't finish it and so missed the achievement?

Ok, the event gave the "Wailing Spirit" costume from the first quest then the "Howling Spirit" and achievement from the last quest in the chain. Do you have both ghost costumes?

Not sure what's happening there unless you've overlooked the achievement in your list, a bug caused you to not get the achievement, or this character has the cash shop version instead of the event version after all.

Ya know, that may be a strong possibility. It's been so long, I can't recall if I didn't finish for some reason, but if I don't have the achievement that was probably the case.

As for the Eerie set...I just went through my Mogstation purchases, and that was actually one of them (would explain why I had no achievement). The pumpkin heads are still a mystery though.

But anyway, I do appreciate all the input :)

You can also check your Journal to see if you have the relevant quests completed in the seasonal event tab.
IIRC the pumpkin heads were on a vendor during the 2013 event. I would guess they're tied to the same achievement as the ghost costumes for repurchase purposes.

Oof. Well it seems I just really messed things up in 2013! lol
