Power up Emote in FFXIV

So they released this emote in Mog Station. It's called /powerup.

Is this legit? Does the hair change colour also?

Just checked, it's Legit Lol. No hair change, but damn its awesome.

No yellow spiky hair sadly.

I'm more surprised they're able to get away with this. I'm willing to bet this is recognizable to MORE people than Dumbo. "We can't have the elephant fly with his ears, but lets have people scream and float in the air and have this giant aura around them! There's NO WAY people will know where it's from!"

Can you tell I'm salty about this (to me) waste of perfectly good resources? Hell, they could've given another dance or something that's NOT stolen from at least 1 other work...

This. It's a move that's been used in basically every other shonen series after DBZ, and quite likely in several prior. It's like saying they can't use the plot where the hero keeps getting stronger to beat stronger enemies because DBZ did it first...

I just wish it was longer, more aura and/or at least persistent.
