Summon Retainer ---> Lockup Game Bug: I'm having the same problem

Hello. I'm having the same problem as the OP in this thread:

...with just a minor difference: I can't summon ONE of my two retainers in Uldah's Armorfitters Row.

Here's what happened: I had summoned my retainer in Armorfitters Row already, but was trying to re-situate her. That means she was already in the room (and I had no problems summoning her the first time). Typically when I re-situate a retainer in this way there are no problems. They disappear from where they were standing and reappear in the new summoned location.

This time, however, the game partially locked up, and I was unable to move. When you summon a retainer, parts of the UI (like the micro menu) disappear temporarily, reappearing after the retainer appears. But this time the retainer didn't appear, and the missing UI elements didn't come back. I could enter text commands, but they didn't do anything. For instance, I tried /shutdown, but it didn't work. Instead, "/shutdown" appeared in blue in my log as if it were an invalid command. Eventually I was forced to Alt-Tab crash the game. Since then, every time I try to summon that retainer in Uldah's Armorfitter's Row, the same thing happens.

I can think of one other possible trigger for this bug aside from the re-positioning issue: when I summoned my retainer I was standing near the edge of the summon-able area, and I was facing kind of sideways.

In any event, I can now summon that retainer anywhere BUT Uldah Armorfitters Row, it seems. I summoned her in other rows in the Uldah market wards, as well as in the market wards of Limsa. I can also summon her at summoning bells. Furthermore, I can summon my other retainer just fine in Armorfitters Row. The problem is specific to one retainer, and only occurs in Uldah's Armorfitters Row.
