Mid-level Gear

I haven't been on XIV since ages ago, and a lot's changed since then. So I've come back recently and revamped my gear, but I haven't done anything but solo this past week and a half. For some reason, I'm kind of afraid a party will be like, "DUDE YOUR GEAR SUCKS." I hope not, but... irrational fears, GO!

At the moment, I have...

Dated Flambeau Radical [Attack Magic Pot+10 Magic Acc+3 Magic Crit Rate+13]

Linen Hat of Intelligence (Blue) [Intelligence+2 Magic Acc+4 Magic Eva+6]
Linen Hat of the Mind (Blue) [Mind+2 Magic Acc+4 Magic Eva+6]

Dated Silver Choker [Attack Power+3 Attack Magic Pot+5]

Linen Robe of Casting (Blue) [MP+46 Attack Magic Pot+6 Magic Eva+6]
Linen Robe of the Mind (Blue) [MP+46 Mind+4 Magic Eva+6]

Boarskin Ringband [Attack Magic Pot+2 Magic Acc+4]

Velveteen Rope Belt (Black) [MP+9 Vit+1]

Dated Canvas Kecks [Strength+2 Intelligence+2 Eva+8 Magic Eva+2]

Padded Sheepskin Duckbills of Casting [HP+15 Intelligence+2]

Anything I'm missing? And what should I look toward for my next gear set? I know in XI there were certain pieces that you had to have... And I find it odd that there're no +healing or +mind weapons besides Wand of Tides? Is this something I should buy?

Hrm... A good way to know if your gear is good for your level is knowing wether or not it's required/optimal level is as close as possible to yours. That tends to generally do it. Overall in XIV there isn't really a lot of MUST HAVE pieces of gear (what kind of makes me happy) if any at all.

And, I do believe that the Wand of Tides might be useful but at the moment it is unsure what really affects your healing the best

for mid lvl id just go with anything that fits your lvl rage. if your lvl 40 look for peices 35-40 not 41. going over the lvl makes you lose all bonus stats and you'll be heavily nerfed on def. If your gonna solo alot then try to get the best gear you can for your lvl. If your in a party then average will be fine.

Thanks guys! :) How much do people really care about gear in XIV? I don't really have the money to afford a completely new gear set (though I could make the money pretty fast, I s'pose). I've noticed that a lot of the next "teir" of gear is 40-42. Should I upgrade then, or try to wait until the 46-48 gear which will hopefully last until I get some endgame items?

for cnj maybe just upgrade your wand, dont worry about the gear though. also the lvl 25 dungeon drops a nice cnj wand that will take you all the way to 50.

Now if only I had a LS to help me with that dungeon. ._.'' The LS I had last time I was active on XIV is completely dead now. :,( I'd also like to get Bloodcry, but I doubt I'd ever find anyone to help me with the Spriggan, either.
