Level 70 - Yellow Scrip Rotation - 1 Button Macro (660 Collect) - Specialist Required

So someone in a discord channel I'm in, someone recently presented a nice little puzzle to do yellow scrip rotation in no more than 15 steps (1 button) at minimum collect. Figured something out, and thought I'd share it with the rest of people if anyone is interested. (Some people much prefer pressing fewer buttons than maximum result at an extra button I guess)

Well, you didn't mention up there that we have to limit only to actions of 100% success rate...
So I came up with the following:

Aye it wasn't really specified to strictly use actions that would hit 100% of the time, I just took it for granted the puzzle would've involved having actions that hit all the time. In any case he did specify that you could go up to 1320/1220/510, but I just figured putting the minimum, or near minimum stats for the given macro would be better for those that don't have 2* stats :)

Well unless i'm blind and cant read the tooltip rapid synth II with steady hand II still has a 10% fail chance. I'd rather have a 100% shure one or press that extra button.

Still trying to figure out how to macro 2 star with nq materials, i just dont quite see it.Perhaps my fault for not wanting to use rath's rotation and flatly refusing to let rng into progress. So I will never use rapid synth.

I just treated this thread as puzzle-solving game, and was merely trying to come up with something that gives maximum quality in 15 steps. I wouldn't use the OP's rotation nor my own rotation up there anyway. We all know how "expensive" yellow scrips are. So why not click 2 buttons instead of 1 to maximize the amount of scrips you can get from the same amt of mats?

2 star macros are all over on this forums. But there's a catch. If you're to start from all NQ mats, you will likely need to use at least 1 Patient Touch, so it's not 100% fidelity. If you want all steps to be 100% secure, you can't go from 0 to max quality. Other than this catch, 2 star is considered "macro-solved".

i found at least one macro, that seems to work on lokyst but failed miserably ingame progress wise

Well i'll just continue making some hq components, dont mind that its relaxing and use what i have

Don't trust crafting calculators completely. They're usually wrong with progress... off by a tad bit. You will likely need more craftsmanship than what the calculators say.

It's kinda silly to be against rapid synth II isn't it? It would have to fail twice in a row to be worse than using careful synth 3, and I've never seen that happen with steady hand II up.

RNG will be RNG. I'll match your anecdotal evidence with an anecdote of my own : I was making a replacement Zelkova accessory and had RS2 fail three times in a row, all covered by SH2.

Is it LIKELY? No. Is it POSSIBLE? By all that is Holy and Unholy, yes.
