Evian's 2-star macro (94% HQ from all NQ materials. Potential for 100% HQ.)

Quality: 94% HQ from all NQ materials. If you are a Specialist (or melded extra Control) and use HQ Control Tea, you will hit 100% HQ from all NQ materials. Or you could possibly hit some Good conditions and hit 100% HQ anyway!
    RNG: Nope, none.
    Food/Buffs: HQ Seafood Stew.
Gear: Entire vanilla set (crafted BiS 4.01) including primary and secondary, all HQ.
Melds: However you want to hit the base stats (below).
    Base Stats: 1320cr, 1220co, 472cp.
Macro Credit: Evian Everdeen (of Midgardsormr).

Afraid of crafting that robe at 94% HQ from a macro? Use this macro on the starting materials and begin your robe synthesis with a HQ starting material or two!

    Macro 1
    /ac "Muscle Memory" <wait.3>
    /ac "Comfort Zone" <wait.2>
    /ac "Inner Quiet" <wait.2>
    /ac "Steady Hand II" <wait.2>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Piece by Piece" <wait.3>
    /ac "Observe" <wait.3>
    /ac "Focused Synthesis" <wait.3>
    /ac "Manipulation II" <wait.2>
    /ac "Comfort Zone" <wait.2>
    /ac "Ingenuity" <wait.2>
    /echo Now hit Macro 2!

    Macro 2
    /ac "Steady Hand II" <wait.2>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Steady Hand" <wait.2>
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
/ac CHECK CONDITION: If Excellent, hit Macro 4. If not, then hit Macro 3!

    Macro 3
    /ac "Ingenuity II" <wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
    /ac "Observe" <wait.3>
    /ac "Focused Synthesis" <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
    /echo Done!

    Macro 4
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
    /ac "Ingenuity II" <wait.2>
    /ac "Observe" <wait.3>
    /ac "Focused Synthesis" <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
    /echo Done!

I also have a manual rotation I may release soon, similar to the previous Rath's. It's pretty straightforward and simple to use if you can't make these base stats to use these macros or prefer manual crafting over macro crafting.

You know what's so overpowered in this game, that they just HAD to leave out?
    -Buffing during cutscenes.
    -Pets receiving the Protect buff.
-A blacklist with more than a 200 player capacity.
-Filtering the flying text for your own numbers.
-A better way to organize and sort through your macros.

Good use of your big CP pool! And I do like the breaking down of the macro here to avoid the poor on Blessing. Unlike 1 star, 2 star gear are rather mat-heavy, so having a check there is worth it.
But I think at this point, people are just a little bit overwhelmed by so many different 2 star macros available out there! LOL! It's a bit hard to chew off so many.

Thanks Caimie, that means a lot! And I don't mean to toot my own horn, but this is the best I've seen so far (quality wise) that works whether you're specialist or not (and has the potential to reach 100% HQ if you are a specialist).

I concur it looks good! I hate branching macros but there is no denying how effective they are. I for instance would use branching macros in Heavensword gathering, because they were so darn effective. Earlier today I put together a similar macro with the HQ Tempura (with poor protection)... but I ended up tossing it out because as observed the same problem in both our macros... being they take three macros regardless because they exceed the 30 action limit =(.

None the less I endorse this as, if you want something effective that will most certainly do all the heavy lifting with super low risk!

I agree, I hate branching into four separate macros too, but for now it's what must be done in order to eliminate RNG and boast efficiency with what's currently available. I think you might actually be able to work in the Tricks of the Trade Poor condition protection here (I'll have to check) so you can only roll with two macros (could be possible they don't all fit into two macros anyway too with the 15 line limit), but it's much more efficient with it branched into four separate macros so that you can take advantage of a possible Excellent condition.

    Thanks for your kind words!

I have a feeling Ermad must have updated the simulator - as I'm falling short on both progress and quality when I try it using the same stats.

This is what I did for gear and melds. There's probably a more logical/economical way, but this may give you an idea. You don't need any VIs (nor do I see any real reason for them at the moment, sell those suckers to the suckers). I used the Vs I received from the crafter quests. I grinded out red scrips for IVs with my CUL. For the I-III, I just did some Ixali Beast Tribe dailies. I paid nothing to meld out, but it will take you some time grinding to amass all that materia. Good luck

Not sure! But I promise, this is tested and working in-game (where it really counts)!

I guess I'm one of those - this is what I was aiming to do, and a bit more of an expensive approach:
The theory behind it was to meld the expensive materia in guaranteed slots - and try to go for IV's for the overmelds as they are essentially red scrip bought.

    http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/11K6C

This is what I ended up doing - the V's overmeld are what I had spare, otherwise I would have done more IV's obtained from red scrips.
The reason IV's are melded into the CP1 slots - is because the CP1's went through the roof on our server- so they are just red scrip bought IV's
