Registering new expac question

So I pre-ordered and signed up for early access. I checked my mog account and it's asking me to register my expac (and/or buy stormblood). Yet I'm in early access so I've obviously pre-ordered. I tried to enter the early access key and it says it's invalid. I tried to add the key I got when I first pre-ordered and it says it's already been registered so I'm confused.

Is it just not showing that the game is registered until the 20th or what?

What you'll want to do is go to your square enix store account page and click on orders. From there you can access the stormblood pre-order and use the unlock code from there. the problem that i found, however, is more that the area to unlock is not the right format for the code. unless i'm also doing something wrong

Yeah, that's the code I tried and it says it's invalid. I went back to the pre-order site where you had to register for early access and I think that's the early access code. So I went back to the email I got when I originally preordered it and noticed another code that does fit that entry form. When I entered that, it says the number is already used. xD

I see people with the preorder stuff though, which is why I went to check the mog station. It says I have early access but it also says it's not registered, which is baffling.

The game isn't released yet. My understanding is that you won't be able to fully register it until tomorrow.

There's two codes. One is your preorder code, the one you got an email about. The other can be found in the SE store, as TSLsmokey wrote - it's not on the MogStation or anything! You can tell if it's the right code by the formatting. Make sure to check all your orders again! =)

Click the large red banner just below the other options that says registrar expansion code not the registrar additional item code button (I did this).
