PS4 Pro users: do you feel lied to?

We were told in the Live Letter that, with the release of SB, we would receive a Pro Patch that would let us achieve stable 60fps even in areas "with a lot of people". If you've played today on the new standard "increased FPS" mode, you'll see that nothing has changed. What are your thoughts on this?

This is Early Release. Stormblood will be Released the 20th.

The "Pro Patch" is out today, though. The 4K, lower FPS option seems to work fine. Except you get the same FPS as the alleged 60fps mode.

Yeah it sucks. I was looking forward to 60fps but there was no change at all.

Do you have a tool to measure your console's FPS and did you compare them between before and after, or you're just going at a glance?

Certain people is very sensitive to that stuff it's not like they need a FPS counter or anything.

Yes. You need an FPS counter to make this kind of assessment. Being "Very sensitive" is no evidence in any shape or form of the frame rate being the same as before.

Incidentally, Yoshi never mentioned whether frame rate would be locked at 60 FPS or not, and anyone who expected it to be in crowded situation simply has no idea of how this kind of things work. Frame rate in MMOs is always just a target.

No you don't, you need a counter to give real values. FPS jumps are very noticeable and you can even guess the frame rate.
