anima weapon?

had 8/10 runes completed on the anima weapon quest. I thot I would get to finish it over the weekend but did I leave it too late?
hoping to farm some tonight but I wasn't expecting maintenance lol:cool:

You'll still be able to finish it over the weekend once the servers go live.

Since not everyone has early access I would expect folks to still be working on it until at least general availability.

Wouldn't matter even if you're in EA. As long as you're on the light step and the weapon is equipped you'll gain light for doing the FATEs and dungeons as you progress Stormblood as well.

I wasn't aware of that. That helps me I'm on the last light and figured I would still need to run the Heavens Ward stuff.

Did they just make it a lot harder to farm runes though? If you only get points for HW content you can't even be guaranteed to get any lights from the new L50/L60 roulette and the odds of getting HW dungeon in leveling is going down with new dungeons added to it. Not to mention they FORGOT TO NERF THAT STAGE!!!!!

I have been doing my weapons slowly through just roulettes but unless you get lights for L50 or SB dungeons as well now that doesn't really seem viable anymore.

Hopefully enough people want to test out the new PvP, so the queue will be not too long even during SB early access. Frontline is a good source of light.

HW dungeons generated light for the 2.x relics so I don't see any reason why the 4.x won't generate light for the 3.x Anima.

I don't think the 2.0 ones did... because the content in 2.0 had specific light values... and 3.0 only worked on 3.0 content... only because of the Ilvl difference and light value... they will allow us to unsync the content for easier light with the new ilvl cap...
