Possible SAM weapon? (If SAM becomes a thing ofc)

Threw this together in Maya while practicing some 3D Modelling.
Yay or Nay on the design? feedback is always appreciated ^^
(Some of the golden parts in different renders have come out as default grey so just imagine them as gold xD)

Honestly, I like everything about that sword except the dwin dragon heads on the pommel. They just seem... like unneeded decoration when the rest of the blade is more... practical? I guess? I love the designs on the blade and around the guard and sheathe though.

Agreed.
Seemed like a good idea at first but looking on it now, it seems a bit too gaudy/impractical for the overall blade design.

If not, look at the "Ninja" weapons. Only 1 looks like actual kodachis. I know the katanas doesn't have the flexibility on desing like other weapons, but we will have a lot of weird stuff instead of katanas.
