Lancer crossclass skills nowadays

wow thx...uhm...i think i stop most of crosslvl till i hit some bigger lvl with my lancer ^^

Keep in mind 1.20 hits, cross-class will get revamped since many of the skills are being changed/removed.

yeah come 1.20 ill probably be looking at something like this.

GLA Abl. 1 - Temporarily reduces damage you sustain and increases enmity generated by actions executed while effect is active.

MRD Abl. 3 - Grants Absorb HP effect to next attack.

PUG Abl. 1 - Restores HP.

PUG Abl. 2 - Makes your next attack a crit when executed from behind the target. Traits may trigger INT bonus.

ARC Abl. 2 - Reduces enmity and increases TP generated by next action.

CON Mag. 1 - Restores a portion of the target's HP.

CON Mag. 4 - Resurrects the target. Traits may trigger prevention of Weakness and Brink of Death effects.

CON Mag. 5 - Creates a barrier around the target that prevents a fixed amount of damage.

THM Abl. 5 - Reduces MP cost of next attack magic spell by half, and restores MP when cast is complete.

and i dont think i will be too advanced when the patch hits.

what concerns me more is the new gear which hits with patch 1.21. im worried that i push up armorer and they say "hey lancer is now a leather only job!" :/

I wouldn't worry too much, traditionally Dragoon wears heavy equipment. I think it'll be along the lines of WoW (let the flaming commence) where you have two "kinds" of heavy armor, plate with defensive stats and mail with offensive stats. Usually there's always a piece or two of leather gear that ends up being BiS, but I still believe Dragoon will be very much heavy armor-reliant. This is just assumption based off current classes available, but I think it'll be like this. (mages, cloth. pgl/arc, leather. gld/mrd plate. lnc/mrd mail, since mrd is like the confused child in school who isn't sure which way he leans.)

Two kinds of heavy armor already exist: Cobalt Cuirass (Red) and Cobalt Haubergeon (Red), so yeah, I would assume they would just continue on this trend.

except LNC can not ware plate anymore since 1.19 so I think we will still be going down the road of chain/scale/leather

Chainmail/Scale Mail = Heavy Armor.
