will 3.5 open door for bst

I really hope make chocobo as pet you be open door for bst I also hope they won't make chocobo weaker.

Choco won't be weaker they specifically said it would be the same, just registered as a pet to not interfere with duty finder. I'm not sure how this 'opens the door' for bst when some jobs already have pets.

there two type of pet jobs that miss melee pet job and range pet jobs

Puppeteer and bst would best for this

Melee pet job bst and range pet jobs puppeteer

Because it's the inquiry of whether or not it was actually possible to have 2 pets out before.

They had to change the Chocobo coding to no longer designate it as a party member and change it to a pet, however when they changed it to a pet the question becomes, were they always able to give players two pets to have out or did they have to create a system which allowed two pets to be out at once. if it's the latter then that means the idea of a job that revolves around managing two pets at once becomes a possibility.

I'm really wondering how much this 8 chocobo party thing will affect open world content. Will maps/hunts/fates be scaled to account for parties essentially doubling in power?

Also no, it does not open the door for BST, the closest you would get is more companions, but that is closer to the XI trust system than BST

Imagine the lag when you have 20-30 people or more at an S rank or Odin and all of them have their birds out.

My suspicion here is that even thought they'll be coded as pets, they'll probably also be coded differently than other pets. I mean, think about it: If they just use the exact same coding that's in play for egis or turrets, it'll mean that doubling power in the open world is the least of your worries, say hello to four bird dungeons and twenty-four man/twenty-four bird raids. No way they'll allow that. So since it's a given that birds still won't be allowed in instances, there's no reason they can't set them up to work differently from other pet in other ways as well. My expectation is that once a party hits eight members, in any combination of players/birds, no one else will be able to join/summon bird until the number drops back to seven just like it is now.

What worries me most ist that once they aimed to let us have our chocobo with us in any dungeons but now it seems they changed that.
It seems they canceled that idea and switched to the GC squadron - now they say we can bring them with us...

we have wait and see i love see what yoshi p does with squardon i don't think they done with it yet

i also want see if yoshi p and the dev team bring beast master in it interest how different jobs are ffxi and other ff games
