Any official information on Lalafell children?

I've been looking around a bit, and... yeah, really I have found NO official information on Lalafell children/childhood/child-rearing/etc. We have a couple characters with Lalafell models labeled "starving children" or something, but that could just be a bit of laziness... or is it confirmed that Lalafell kids look exactly the same and have the same size as Lalafell adults?!

I like the lore of the series, and I think it would be interesting to find out about this aspect of it. I would also like to find out more about Roe children, but they're more human-ish so I can kind of guess where that's concerned.

This seems to imply Lalafells reach adult height at the age of 12

We probably won't know anything about Lalafell children younger than 12 until they have the model created, just like child miqo'tes were unheard of until they made the model for it (and only female)

Yes, this has been my question for literally years now!! Where are the Lalakids??

We have Elezen kids, Hyuran kids, Miqittens.... but no Lalakids (and I don't think I've seen Au Ra either, though there may be some Roe kids somewhere in the game...) Presumably they are somewhere in the game world, but where?

FFXI had the Star Onion Brigade and it was awesome!

I doubt it counts, but, there's a family outside of the CNJ guild with a child that uses a lala model, I believe. Except, their parents are standing right next to them arguing with another bystander, and they aren't lalafells, but Elezen! (Just more proof that everyone else is an offshoot of the glorious master race, m'nyesss.)

It was an odd sight and I recall thinking that maybe they just needed a child model and used the next smallest thing with pointy ears, but I never went back to get a better look. Anybody else passing through there?

There is a scene in the Gold Saucer wherein a Hyur girl and a Lalafell in the same dress are squaring off about a talent show or something. I got the impression they were the same age, so there's another in-game example of a Lalafellin youngster for ya.

There was at least one incidence of a lalafell identified as a child by his nameplate in the original version of FFXIV (version 1.0) - during the 1.0 GLA class quests to be exact, and his model was virtually identical to his 'adult' form (the player encountered his child form through the Echo):

Although those images were from 1.0 and possibly may no longer be canon, it does seem to suggest that lalafell probably stop changing physically at a very early age and thus even older child lalafell do not seem to be readily discernible from adults, save some lalafell men are seen with beards and facial hair (like Lolorito). As I do not yet own the lorebook I cannot verify if anything on the subject is mentioned in there sadly either.
