request : artwork for loading screen

it is not huge deal but would like some artwork for the loading screen of zones/instances...etc
because anything is better than staring at black screen
preferably the concept art of the zone/instance that player zoning into.

Though not a big enough deal to have, and nor would it keep me from subscribing to an MMO, but I would enjoy it.
BUT what I WOULD love to see, is the option to continue typing, and talking to people as I zone.
In every MMO, transition to Instances and such, it's not a big deal, but being able to continue my conversation, would make the 'wait' a bit less noticeable, and just in general, add a bit more conversation, in moments where no one is talking in their LSs/PTs.

Ooh, they could even toss in random lore snippets on the area like in Oblivion. Wouldn't it be neat to zone into, say, The Black Shroud and getting some info on the name of Camp Emerald Moss?

I am all for spicing up the loading screens. This is more important now that we will have loading between zones. And we really must allow for chat during loading screens. Its not as bad as it was in XI where you had to tell announce you were zoneing so you don't miss any of the conversation, but it could definitely use more work.

I'd say in 2.0 when we'll actually have loading in between zones and such, they should definitely think about just taking the concept art for that zone or place and having it be the loading screen. Now...not too much of a concern but it'd be "nice" for 2.0.

This, allow chat any time and all the time. No more chat lock in 2.0 and chat available during loading screens. :D

something like GC leaders per zone that applies to. and then like NM or primal pics for areas nearby them.

現時点で想定している仕様では、エリアチェンジ時のみになります。イベントシーンなどのシリアスなシーンでTipsが出たり、シナリオに合わない画像が出るのは好ましくないと私たちも考えているため、入れる予定はありません。
With current planned set up it (loading screen) will be only applied for area change . For event scene or other serious scenes we also think it's not favorable to have tips or images not related to the scenario so we are not planning to include them.

ただし、現時点でエリアチェンジ時にかかる時間が判明していないのですが、そもそものLoading時間がものすごく短くなるのであれば、単に次のエリア名だけを表示させるなど違う演出も含めて検討を行います。
However we still are not sure how much time it will take for the actual area change, and if the loading time is going to be really low then we are looking into different things like just showing area name and such.

新生版でどれくらい速くなるかは、今後調整を行っていく部分ですのでまた進展がありましたらお知らせいたします。

In the past we may have made similar comment but although it will be for 2.0 in 2.0's new server system structure and increased speed the actual loading time will be less at same time in the loading we are looking into adding Tips or images.
