Unable to reactivate my Reatiner Services, Need Help!

So I accidentally let my sub expire and I immediately signed back up again. So I got into the game and realized that my retainer service was Inactive, so I go back into the Mog Station and I don't see an option to reactive the current retainers. So I used the Retainer Service button and added back the number of extra retainers I had (4) and now I get this error when I try to pay for them:

An error has occurred.
Please confirm the status of any relevant options and then try again.
For details, please contact the Square Enix Support Center.
(Error code: 601)

I used the exact same CC I did when I paid for my sub just a few minutes before.
Has anyone had this experience before? How can I get my retainers back quickly?

I am a prolific crafter and I have a TON of items now locked before the patch that I need access too.

Yeah I tried from another browser, no go. It keeps saying that the Additional Retainer service is inactive on my sub. I just need to reactivate it. but the only option to reactivate it is by adding retainers like I did the first time I added them. Is this normal or do I have to go about a different way?

You have to add them like the first time, just select the number and you'll have your retainers back.

Try again tomorrow. The same thing happened to me a few months ago. Accidentally let my sub slip for a day (changed banks so auto renew failed), yet despite re-subbing couldn't reactivate my retainers. I contacted support and they said to try again tomorrow. I did and it worked fine.

Ditto to the above. Just had this problem a couple of weeks ago myself; waited 24 hours, tried again, and it worked correctly then. Their services are just kinda... :/ sometimes.
