In 4.0 can we please get rid of caster bars on physical ranged jobs?!

In a recent interview Yoshi regrets how complex and different some jobs play at lv 60 compared to 50. It lead to a widening gap in skill level among players. He mentions in 4.0 he wants lv 60 skills and above play/ feel like lv 50 did. Bard and MCH play completely different at lv 60 compared to 50. The difference is so large that many people have let the BRD for good. I personally don't people non casting range jobs need a cast bar at all. How likely is this to happen?

I feel for jobs the cast bar makes them more complex then they have to be- like even for MCH to get the most DPS u have to know when to turn off GB - most players will just leave GB on -myself included. MCH's mechanics are ammo / procs and turrets And BRD is procs and DOTs- just leave it like that- KISS mention: keep it simple stupid.

The cast bar will be replaced with an Aiming bar that fills up as you stand still to aim your shot. Moving interrupts the aim and cancels the shot.

This scares me... because I've gotten used to using WM as a bard. If after 50 they change it back to how it was before.. its going to completely screw me over, or cause confusing, as we have to 'stance' dance more often.

LOL I'm guessing that ability was not very well recieved by the playerbase

I haven't bothered looking at FFLogs for recent content yet...how close does BRD/MCH DPS compare to BLM/SMN DPS? If it's already straddling the line, then removing BRD/MCH mobility restrictions could have some pretty serious consequences re: caster jobs. Unless raids plan on having a ton of add-based/AOE-favoring encounters then giving physical ranged strong single-target DPS relevant to caster jobs while having none of their mobility restrictions AND powerful utility that is unique to them is probably too imbalanced.

People will complain about it until the day it gets removed..

They took a class that specialized in mobility, and forced it to stand still. If people wanted to stand still, they have BLM, and SMN. You cant take a class that people have picked, and have played for fifty levels, and change up the formula on them so drastically. It's not even the fact that people dont want to adapt, its that people picked a class and put large amounts of time into it, and suddenly its something entirely different that they didn't choose, and may not even like.

It's not going to be removed. I actually like them when I bard. I don't find it an issue at all.

I just want bard to have ya know... MORE SUPPORT ABILITIES?

Im indifferent to the casting bar. I main a caster so I can't really say its not good or not, I really don't notice it half the time.
