That a BLM hat -_-.... And 2nd Yoshnsaid last year There most likely not adding BLU to the game BC how it can't fit in the the lore of the game atm. And 3rd that the Hildibrand quest NPc named Gigi (I know most ppl don't read or watch it, but they know this if they did)

No. That's from the next hildibrand episode/teaser and the "blue" mage is Gigi, a black mage mammet brought to life.

But then they teased BLU in last year's rising. There's absolutely no reason BLU won't fit. Just have skills learned during job quests be from beasts. Lore issue solved. *shrug* They also said they didn't want to add Summoner and that happened. Don't underestimate the power of player wishlists. Pretty sure SAM/RDM/BLU are the top 3 demanded jobs right now, with Dancer not far behind.

"lore" lol, everyone knows damn well it's because FFXIV is waaaay too stiff for a crazy class like BLU.

Is there a source? and if so did he give specific reasons why it wouldn't fit in the Lore? BLU seems more impractical due to the Trinity but it still seems possible from what we know of magic in Hydealyn
