But then they teased BLU in last year's rising. There's absolutely no reason BLU won't fit. Just have skills learned during job quests be from beasts. Lore issue solved. *shrug* They also said they didn't want to add Summoner and that happened. Don't underestimate the power of player wishlists. Pretty sure SAM/RDM/BLU are the top 3 demanded jobs right now, with Dancer not far behind.

"lore" lol, everyone knows damn well it's because FFXIV is waaaay too stiff for a crazy class like BLU.

Is there a source? and if so did he give specific reasons why it wouldn't fit in the Lore? BLU seems more impractical due to the Trinity but it still seems possible from what we know of magic in Hydealyn

He didn't actually say that. He said he wants to put it in but won't until he can find a way to make it work for FF14. Specifically he meant gameplay wise, because he didn't want blue mages who didn't have specific skills to be locked from content because noone would want them like in FF11. Lore had nothing to do with anything he said.

The only class he did say he had no plans to add, and didn't even think about was puppetmaster.
