Patch 3.38, 8/23

My Japanese is rusty aka pretty good but not 100% trustworthy but I believe it says:

1) They're nerfing the 210 Anima Step(Unidentified)

2) Allowing "casuals"(me :D) to upgrade Lore weapons to 240 finally

But when is 3.4 :(

Hah. I'm finishing the 210 and 230 steps for SMN relic tomorrow. I knew it would be nerfed around the same time as I finished. I was going to wait for the nerf before finishing up, but decided to go ahead anyway.

If they follow their schedule of 3/4 months between patches, we should see 3.4 in September. Knowing SE, they will release it after Tokyo Game Show. Tokyo Game Show starts the 15th of September, so I guess there will be a Live Letter discussing about 3.4. Patch 3.4 should be released a week or two after the Live Letter.

I to would love to know when 3.4 will be out since we are at the 2 month mark since the last patch and there is no news of any live letters. I fear the next patch not being in a months time but more like 2 months

I think that early october or late september is the best bet. Most patches are 3 months and a half away from each other, very rarely 3 month if ever.

I also hope that 3.5 to 4.0 isn't 4 to 5 months like 2.5 to 3.0 was

I think that they said it was a special case for 2.5 to 3.0 because it was the first expansion and they needed a break before releasing it, but for the next expansions they will be more prepared and shouldn't need such a break.
