Non-boss chests in 4-person dungeons should either contain tomestones or equipment.

It's feels silly to have such non-consequential items in those chests. Items that are readily available everywhere in Eorzea. By getting rid of the fluff items, like clear prisms and potions, and replacing them with a minimal amount of tomestones (like 5 or 10) or gear would make the dungeons that much more rewarding to run. It would also have the additional effect of keeping inventory space that much clearer.

Summary: make 4-person dungeon chests ONLY contain either a small amount of tomestones or equipment.

I like my clear prisms than you very much! I make a ton off of crafting them into specific prisms. The chests do have a random chance to drop gear already so I don't think the system really needs changing? As for tomestones its not a bad idea but they shouldn't drop from anything under The Vault.

I absolutely hate getting clear prisms, considering how incredibly cheap they are to simply buy.

Every time someone opens a chest, I just think "Oh no, please don't be clear prisms. And if it is, please don't let me get them!"

Receiving equipment would be much more helpful, especially to raise desynthesis at higher levels and to turn in for GC Seals.

I don't mind potions too much, because I do find uses for them on occasion.

tomestones in chests would only result in less tomestones from bosses.
Instead of tomestones it would be nice if the chests drop crafting mats for relic (like in wanderer palace) or grade 6 dark matters

The only clear prisms I hate are Grade 4 since it seems like all G4 glamour prisms sell for under 100 gil on my server or something.

I think I'd rather have Allagan Pieces of Tin back, compared to the mostly worthless clear prisms we get now. Atleast it was funny to laugh about getting tin. Prisms are just boring.

Having to trash all the junk loot after running a dungeon is pretty annoying. They could at least make the potions HQ Max-potions so they would be useful.

Prisms are loot for some people, not everyone wants useless gear. Ill gladly take prisms over stupid potions. So no I won't buy my prisms from a vendor.

Agreed, prisms are bad as chest loot. They would be a little better if they didn't have the whole grade 1-5 nonsense going on and were universal instead, but as it is you can't even just be all like "oh, I need a grade 3 prism to glamour this thing, I guess I'll go run some dungeons for it" because even assuming you get a box with prisms in it there's only presumably a 1/5 chance they will even be grade 3, on top of the 1/4 chance they will fall in your inventory. It is far, far simpler to just buy the blank prisms you need, and I assume this is what mostly everyone does anyway because most people prefer the simpler/lazier solutions.
