I know, and this annoys me too, but unfortunately, besides you and me, it seems very few people care
1.02 happened. If you knew decimals, you'd know that

they are both the same, the versions are moving in a one point increment so 1.20 and 1.2 are still only 1/5th the way in to 2.0. Whether it was intended that way or not does not really matter as most people will take them as being the same anyway, because in this case they are. Has this dug under people skin that bad? lol
Well isn't this a stupid thing to argue about.
Version numbers are not decimals, or any other numbering system that can have math done on it.
It is, in fact, totally legitimate to have version numbers like 7.5.1.
If it ~really~ bothers you, you can think of it as "1-20" rather than "1.20"
