Why does the earnest maid refer to us as "My lover"

Translation mishap?

yeah, it's probably supposed to just be "love", a general personal pronoun.

I don't know what voice language you listen to, but to me living in England my whole life it just sounds like a stereotypical thing for someone using her dialect/accent to say...it's meant to be affectionate to get us on side...a quick google even says its Bristolian accent xD

Its an npc from near the current end of the heavensward main story.

"my lover" or "me lover" is a very common form of dialect here in the southern part of the UK very common around cornwall, it's just an affectionate term used to anyone, so when i read it i imagend her with a cornish accent going "alright me lover we be sure to get rid of theese nasty dragons" it isnt a translation error :P just a form of dialect
