Would a female Higlander named Ongla Strongarm be a fitting lore name? I'm so bad with naming conventions
According to the naming traditions, it would fit perfectly :D One thing I noticed about Highlander npcs, is you almost never see their surname mentioned in their nameplate, it only usually is shown if that npc is in a battle, e.g. Mylla the Guildmistress of the GLA's Guild's surname is 'Swordsong', but the player is not shown that until she participates in duties with the player during the GLA class quests.
There are exceptions to the 'Germanic' or 'Nordic' names rule though storyline and is mentioned in dialogue: eg. Hildibrand's family name being 'Manderville', does not sound very Highlanderish, but I guess because it's Hildibrand he gets a pass for that. ;)
So that name is definitely traditional for a Highlander! :D
Most Highlander surnames are titles or nicknames, so more then likely it is her surname.
"As the Highlanders are a warring race, their last names tend to sound more...violent, as they will often adopt the colorful nicknames they have earned during battle." -Highlander naming conventions lore post.
Sounds like a good name OP (yay for Highlander women! \(^_^)/)
