Silence immunity

I just finished a feast match where I got silenced 8 TIMES (perfect balance> arms of destroyer + BRD blunt arrow).

Are there any plans to implement silence resistance? I believe it is a bit unfair that there is no resistance accumulation from repetitive silence(s), while other debuffs has.

I think it was me doing it to you lol.

But in all seriousness, I don't think it's OP or anything. It can't really be spammed often because it's a pretty big DPS loss for an MNK.

BRD/MCH, NIN, PLD have 20-30s cooldowns on their silences which imo is fair game given the recent interrupt threshold, sounds more like the problem with monks being able to spam it rather than the status itself, though thats a huge hit to monk dps and TP.

Lol it only really works well on a WHM anyway. SCH's and AST's don't really have a problem against it. I think it's a good counter seeing as though WHM's have access to sleep which can shut someone down for 15+ seconds and is on the GCD.

I dont think it needs nerfing to be honest. It's a genuine tactic that ONLY has use in Feast - not even anywhere close to be as effective in seal rock etc. Chaining it is on a very long cooldown and is a pretty big DPS loss. Also it does actually take a decent amount of skill timing to line up a silence from a ranged to interrupt a healer.

What about when combined with One Ilm Punch, the OTHER problematic spammable MNK skill

lmao I know that pain, thats why I go DPS most of the time :( We haven't been on the same team in ages! I keep seeing you on the other side though -.-

Irrelevant. Silence and removing some buffs at the expense of DPS is a fair trade, especially as it's all on the GCD and you need to refresh your own buffs etc too. You can't spam AotD and One Ilm Punch together effectively - to shut down a WHM for a few seconds it has to be JUST AotD.
